Michele MinnickOffice ManagerMichele has been the Office Manager of our growing practice for 26 years. She has been in the dental field for many years, beginning as a receptionist. She finds her work here very fulfilling, always looking forward to seeing new and familiar faces and helping them however she can. From receptionist to financial administrator, Michele is here to answer all sorts of questions and make things easy for our patients to understand. Her favorite hobbies are spending time with her children and grandchildren, family vacations, or just relaxing with a good book.

Regan HurtFront Desk / Dental Hygiene AssistantRegan has been a part of our growing practice for four years, and she hopes to continue here for many more. She graduated in 2018 with a degree in Education and earned a certificate in Medical Billing in 2021. However, after starting her role as a Dental Hygiene Assistant, she couldn’t imagine working anywhere else! Her favorite part of working here is seeing patients regain their confidence after getting their smiles back. The staff here feels like family, and every day presents a new adventure.

Danette HurtRegistered Dental HygienistDanette is a State and National Board Certified Dental Hygienist. She earned her Associate of Applied Science Degree from Virginia Western Community College, graduating with honors in 2001 in addition to earning a certificate in Dental Assisting in 1994 from Pikes Peak Community College. She grew up in Bedford County and graduated from Liberty High School in 1989. She moved away for 8 years, after moving back to Virginia in 1996, she had two beautiful children who are now grown and living in the Lynchburg area. Since 2006, Danette has worked in our practice. She loves helping patients achieve optimal oral health, but she especially loves that here, patients are like family.

Sandy ZindelDental HygienistSandy grew up moving around to wonderful places because her dad was in the U.S. Air Force. Once her dad retired, they settled in Northern Virginia. Sandy started her dental career when she was 16. She worked as a dental assistant and receptionist after school and during summers. She loved it so much, that she went to dental hygiene school, and graduated from Allegheny College. Sandy has a passion for working with people that have dental anxiety to try to help them overcome their fear and make the dental visit a positive one. She also has so much fun working with kids. She believes if you can start kids off with a good home care regimen, they will like going to the dentist.
In her free time, Sandy loves spending time with her 4 grandchildren.

Anne WilsonDental AssistantSince she was 8 years old, Anne has wanted to work in a dental office to help give people a smile they could feel good about. She found an office that was willing to give her a chance, and that's where she met Dr. Midkiff. She started as an assistant to the hygiene department while she finished a program for chair-side assisting. When Dr. Midkiff decided to open his practice, she was hired to be his dental assistant, and her dream came true. To be able to see the fruits of our work in their smiles has been a fulfilling career. Dr. Midkiff is a wonderful dentist and boss!
She has a wonderful husband, daughter, son-in-law, grandson, and loving poodle Angel. She is a devout Catholic and loves serving her Lord and Savior who makes all things possible.

Natalie BootheDental AssistantNatalie has been a dental assistant in our practice for three years and has a total of ten years of experience in the field. She is a Bedford County local and has two beautiful children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, traveling, and embracing her role as a mom. Her favorite part of working with Dr. Midkiff is assisting patients' in their journey to healthy, happy smiles. Both the patients and the staff feel like family to her and she looks forward to serving the community.

Jenna GregoryDental AssistantJenna Gregory was born and raised in Northern Virginia. She moved to Lynchburg to attend Liberty University, and has been here ever since! With a bachelor's degree in graphic design, Jenna enjoyed 10 years doing print, digital, and web design for many clients both local and national.
At the beginning of 2024, Jenna was looking to change careers, and during a routine cleaning with our own Sandy Zindel, she was encouraged to consider a career in the dental field. She applied immediately to a summer course with Accelerated Academy to become a dental assistant. She graduated the program and started work right away with Dr. Midkiff. Jenna loves assisting the doctor with restorative procedures, seeing the work from beginning to end, and sending our patients home with healthier teeth and even more beautiful smiles than when they arrived.
When she's not working, Jenna loves spending time with her husband, Jon, and their son. They love playing games, traveling, spending time outdoors, and hosting dinner parties for their friends.
